"Frances” is my middle name, and this business is my heart. It's not just about taking pictures; it's about capturing the moments that tell your story and create timeless memories.

I’m Mary, the photographer behind Frances Design Photography — an artist with a love for clean lines, warm tones, and the kind of imagery that feels effortlessly timeless. My approach is calm, intentional, and deeply people‑focused. I guide you gently, create space for real connection, and capture the moments that feel like you — natural, elevated, and beautifully honest.

Whether we’re shooting in a sun‑lit studio, along the Gulf Coast, or in the middle of a celebration, my goal is simple: to create photographs that feel both artful and deeply personal. Images you’ll return to again and again, because they hold not just how it looked, but how it felt.

I’m a proud wife to a dedicated first responder, and mom to two amazing kids—a spirited daughter and a sweet, wild little boy. Exploring nature is our family happy place.

We also have three rescue dogs (yes, they’re named after Harry Potter characters. Harry, Hermione & Neville.) and one bearded dragon who was supposed to be my son’s pet… but let’s just say I’ve become his full-time caretaker. His name? Peter Parker Spider-Dragon. Obviously.

I didn’t start with a roadmap j ust a desire to create something meaningful. I learned what I needed to learn, saved for every gear upgrade, and poured myself into each session with everything I had. Those early years were full of growth, grit, and plenty of emotion, but I kept going. I still do.

Today, Frances Design Photography offers a personal, polished, one‑of‑a‑kind experience. Whether I’m photographing a wedding, a branding session, or a family portrait, my goal is always the same: to capture the real moments, the ones that tell your story and feel like you.

Building a business isn’t easy. There have been challenges, tears, and moments of doubt, but I rise, adjust, and push forward every time. I pour my heart into this work, and I’m incredibly proud to be the owner of Frances Design Photography.

Family means everything to me, and that shows in how I work. I want every client to feel seen, celebrated, and completely at ease. Not everyone loves being in front of the camera, but everyone leaves loving their time with Frances Design.

I’m a proud Potterhead—so much so that our rescue dogs are named after my favorite characters. (Yes, I take house sorting very seriously.)

I’m neurodivergent and live with ADHD, which means my creativity runs deep, my energy is real, and my brain is always in motion. I embrace it fully.

I’m an artist in every sense—photography is my main medium, but I express myself in many volumes, from visuals to words to wild ideas.

I’m both the life of the party and the quiet observer. I thrive in connection, but I recharge in solitude.

Empathy is my superpower. I feel deeply, listen fully, and care fiercely.

I’m not afraid to be goofy, bold, or speak my truth. I believe in showing up as my whole self—quirks and all.

I love Jesus, but I cuss a bit. Grace and grit go hand in hand around here.

I don’t quit. Ever. I rise, I adapt, and I keep going—because the work I do and the people I serve matter that much.
