Owner of Frances Design Photography & Studio

Hey there, I’m Mary!

I am a self-taught freelance photographer, 2x published and owner of Frances Design photography & Studio. I am a Christian, a wife to a first responder, mother to two beautiful children and three dogs. I am a daughter, granddaughter, aunt, sister, cousin and friend.

I have always loved art and it has been a big part of my life in many forms. Photos are something I have taken throughout my childhood and into adulthood. To be able to visualize and create my clients' dreams and capture them via photograph is a job I will always treasure and be proud of.

I put my heart into this business, I give attention to detail, and I make my clients' desires a priority. You are not judged here; you are respected & cherished.

Welcome again my friends. I am so glad you’re here.

Best,

Mary

Random Fact: I have ADHD and it's a part of me that I love. I personally believe that's why I make such a great entrepreneur.

What does it mean to be a Freelance photographer?

Being a freelance photographer means I work for myself and under contracts specific to each of my clients. I get to choose what type of work I take on and can turn down work that doesn't align with my style or interests. Luckily for you, there aren’t many things I will turn down!  I love photography and I love all the different areas Photography is needed for.

If what you need is not listed on my website, please contact me via "contact us" page and explain what you’re in need of. I will be more than happy to discuss your wishes with you and make them happen.

My husband

My husband’s name is Tom, we have been married for 9 years & together for 11.

He is a paramedic for Pinellas County. He’s so goofy, smart and has no filter. He is my partner, lover and biggest supporter. The love of my life folks! Doesn’t he look cute?

Random Fact: Tom loves to catch snakes and gators and any crazy creature. (Don't worry, he always lets them go after)

Our children

Ellie is our oldest she is 8 years old. She has a passion for art, enjoys playing sports and games, tumbling, playing the piano, and indulging in video games and imaginative play.

She excels in reading, surpassing her grade level, and finds joy in writing and illustrating her own stories. Her imaginary play is incredibly immersive.

She values loyalty in friendships and invests deeply in them. She gives a lot to her friends and expects the same level of commitment in return. It's all about equality.

I have no doubt that she will pursue a career in acting, writing, or professional gaming in the future.

Random Fact: When she was about 4 we had to call her "Joy" from inside out for 3 days straight. (Yes, in costume, wig and all)

Jase, is our youngest at 4 years old. He is full of energy and loves dinosaurs, monster jam, cars, planes, and causing mischief.

He has an impressive knowledge of dinosaurs, as well as different types of work vehicles and cars. Jase is incredibly curious and always wants to understand the how and why of things. He constantly asks questions about what letter words start with, how many people are in a room, or how long it takes to get from our house to any given location.

This little boy is exceptionally intelligent and loves to talk. We are constantly amazed by the things he says. Despite being only 4, he enjoys watching documentaries about animals, the human body, and how things function in general.

Random Fact: He sometimes invites the waitress at the restaurant to sit and join us at the table.

Both of our kids are very kindhearted, happy, healthy, wonderful little humans.

The Pups

Hermione Juniper is a rescue that we have had since she was 3 months old. She is now 2 years old. She is a Husky/Chow/Lab mix. She loves to dress up & she is a total mama’s girl & princess.

Harry Severus is also a rescue who we got as a baby and is only one year old. He is a Shepherd/Rottweiler/Lab mix. Very protective, loyal and overall, a big baby that just wants cuddles & treats.

Even though these two do alike, they aren't related.

Hermione and Harry are both from Paws Rescue Group, which was a non-profit organization that recently closed. The staff there were wonderful, hardworking, caring people.

Neville Rubeus

The newest pup to the family. Another rescue but this one is from Rags to Riches non-profit. Neville is the sweetest little thing and demands love and attention. The rescue called him "Bandit" and its true... he is in fact a bandit as he steals things. Socks are his favorite item to take. We haven't done a DNA test on him yet, but we plan to.

Our dogs are our babies. We spoil them and love them deeply.

And if you didn't realize by their names, we also love Harry Potter.

Iden Graham Brown

Rest in Peace my first ever baby.
